Dave Poulin, Robin Moir and the late Ron Henry
were the original Christmas in the Valley Singers.
They were hired by CKBY Country to sing
backgrounds on the very first Christmas in the
Valley Radio series, featuring Wayne Rostad and
Friends.
The episodes proved to be so wildly successful and
popular with country radio listeners that
CKBY decided to produce an album series in which
Volume 1 of Christmas in the Valley was released in
1986.
From the very first radio show and all through the
next seven albums and CDs, Dave, Robin and Ron
sang on each and every song.
What a lineup it was: Wayne Rostad, Colleen
Peterson, Charlie Major, Terry Carrisse, Bobby
Lalonde, Bruce Golden, Dan Rogers, Chris McCann
and the Family Brown just to name a few!
This year Dave and Robin are joined by Braiden
Turner another great lead vocalist and background
singer.
