The first Light Up The Night outdoor concert took place on December 6, 1991 ... the first Friday in
December that year. It was hosted by Wayne Rostad, and his song Christmas In The Valley was the
theme of the show, as it is today!
Since that evening, Light Up The Night continues to bring the joy of the Christmas season to the
township and people of Mississippi Mills....and now the greater Ottawa Valley!
The purpose of this website is to chronicle this magical event and tell our visitors all about it. Soon you
will be able to click on a year ...and find out everything about the concert, the artists and the weather
that year!
