| Johnny Spinks Johnny Spinks was born and raised in Almonte. He got his first guitar at eight years of age, and he has been pickin’ ever since. You have probably come across Johnny during the past 25 years playing in and around the Ottawa Valley and Western Quebec. He started out as a lead guitarist in an assortment of bands and then four years ago, he decided to form his own band and just like that Johnny Spinks and Kool Water came to life! Johnny and his band play Classic Country to 50’s and 60’s Rock and Roll. Johnny is a huge supporter of his community, alway willing to volunteer his talents in support of his hometown. Last year he ventured into the studio to make a CD called “We Will Remember” with all proceeds going to local Veterans. Johnny has been fortunate enough to be involved for the last two years with Rides for Dads as well as popular area Country Festival Riverside Jam. |
